Benshaw RB2 Open Chassis Soft Starters are field proven, rugged, solid state starters designed for use in a wide range of industrial applications. Select based on your application (Standard Duty, Heavy Duty or Severe Duty) and voltage ratings from 208-575VAC up to 838A.
The RB2 soft starter includes an integral bypass contactor in a modular design with separate poles for each phase, allowing for ease of maintenance. Benshaw’s MX2 control technology provides basic motor protection with adjustable overload settings. It also provides user adjustable motor ramp profiles that can be tailored to the motor load. The soft starter can be programmed using a board-mounted LED keypad, Modbus register mapping, or optional remote mount LCD keypad.
